The roads are so bad that, even though it has not snowed since Sunday, some national guard men yesterday said they had flipped a Snow Cat. We also heard from the highway patrol that they had a snowplow either stuck or flipped. The national guard are here now, trying to help motorists and feed cattle. So it's the worst possible road conditions imaginable. We will wait till tomorrow to leave even if we receive a car today because we don't want to drive on the ice at night. The high here today is only about 17, but it is sunny. The low tonight is predicted to be about 7.
We continue to become more proficient at Rummikub. Carol has really grown attached to it also.

A short while ago, Blackhawk Helicopters were spotted down the road in a hay lift operation for stranded cattle (seriously!). Should we try to hitch a ride? :)
More drama than we were really looking for...
